I grew up in a small village of West Bengal. My school was not too far from our house. I loved going to school and secretly dreamt of becoming a teacher someday. One day while coming back home, I got a proposal from a boy. He had a bad reputation in the neighborhood; so I decided to reject it. The very next week that boy who claimed to love me, attacked me with his friends. They groped me in public and threatened me with dire consequences if I didn't reconsider his proposal. That moment I felt completely powerless.

So I stopped going to school and barely ever left the house. The fear of him molesting and humiliating me again, haunted me for long. It took me years to muster the courage to finally get over it. Now I know what could have saved me that night. 

I still see hundreds of women enduring torture, eveteasing, harassment just like I did. And I want them to stop. Because with the right thing they can put an end to the abuse instantly. It is my dream to help liberate as many women as possible from a life of misery and injustice. Rural as well as women of urban areas are not at all aware of all the safety things that are available for legal usage. With your support, I hope to deliver "Pepper spray" to at least 1000 women and spread an awareness campaign about its' use.
