Smt.R.Sathi Memorial Foundation is a charitable trust, a non-profit organization, floated to enlighten the memory of Smt.R.Sathi who has been passed away on 22.01.12 due to CANCER.  It's main objective is to give holistic support - financial, emotional and social to those poor and needy cancer patients who are otherwise unable to get proper treatment due to their financial and economic backwardness. It is a registered Trust and now situated in Maradu, Ernakulam. Some of our other dear and near ones are also passed away due to this deadly disease.  This foundation is managed by 5 members out of which 2 members are professionally qualified doctors. Managing Trustee is a retired person from the private sector and the other two members are private-sector employees.  Small, small financial help is done by members from their own pocket and not accepted any help from outside. Now, we feel, it is not enough to help the diseased one and also don't know how the people are utilizing this financial help.  So, the trust took a decision not to hand over money instead of supply required medicines. Our doctor members also had a word with the Oncology department of Government General Hospital and they also advised not to give money, procure medicine and supply.  On an average of Rs.2.00 lakhs p.m. at least is necessary for this. Medicines will purchase as per the doctors advise and will hand over the same to the authorities of Govt.hospital for distributing among the patients.  So, we are approaching you to mobilize funds for a noble cause.  Our Trust Deed attached here for information.
