I am Manisha, a health worker at present in extreme stress for my lovely daughter Smilee. Just a few months ago Smilee happily celebrated her 10th birthday but unfortunately, the happiness didn’t last long, soon we came to know she is suffering from life-threatening Acute Liver Failure.  

While during the pandemic we were struggling to take care of our daily essentials this bad news was the end of our hopes.  With only one chance to save my lovely daughter we had to rush her to the Jupiter Lifeline Hospitals Ltd. Pune, Maharashtra.

Doctors recommended an urgent liver transplant to save Smilee’s life. The transplant costs Rs. 20,00,000 which is far beyond our reach and that is too in the next 30 days. The lockdown has sucked up all our savings and this additional financial burden which even we can’t imagine.

Smilee was so lively and cheerful, she is most favorite to all nearest and dearest but her happiness is diminishing day by day and turning into depression due to this illness.

It’s been a difficult journey for us. She needs all the help she could get now as her life came to a standstill. I am donating my liver to Smilee but this seems not enough as I have to plan for transplantation expenses.
