Simpita Roy Choudhury is my sister in law who is unfortunately battling to stay alive. She was initially diagnosed with covid with a high fever and then eventually due to a breathing issue, she had to be admitted to the hospital immediately. She was in Kothari Medical Hospital for 14 days but her condition kept getting worse. She was further diagnosed with Covid pneumonia with Level 1 Respiratory failure ARDS. Her left lung completely collapsed. She was further ventilated and shifted to Medica as the doctors suggested ECMO treatment. We have got an estimate of 40 lacs for this treatment. We were already billed 5 lacs in Kothari and current bill in Medica for 18 days is 25 lacs. She now has pneumothorax on both her lungs and doctors have mentioned her ICU stay is going to be longer. It is our earnest request to you all to come and help raise funds for her treatment. She has a 9 months old daughter who is eagerly waiting to see her mother. My own mother was hospitalized for 27 days in Fortis so we are already running short of funds. Please come forward to her help survive.
