We rescued more than 100 animals in the last year of 2024. It included dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and even cattle and goats. Last year was the first year of our cattery and within that we rescued 50 + cats with special needs and had a healing percentage of 70%. For the kind of dogs that we rescued we had special needs dogs as well as old dogs with kidney issues, dogs with cancer or heart issues, dogs with traumatic brain injuries as well as abandoned pets.
Despite that it was the worst year for our finances and we entered 2025 with a debt of 3 lacs in veterinary bills.
Even do we are considering not rescuing anymore we still have 25 + dogs in foster care and 20 + cats in the cattery. These dogs and cats need constant care and many of them are currently under active treatment and will need funds ahead for it.
