Old age is a sensitive phase as people need care and comfort to lead healthy life. We learn the essential values of Indian culture and tradition in our childhood. However, some people forget what all their parents have done for them.
The purpose of this campaign is to make an effort to provide basic living needs to an elderly person abandoned by his family.
EARLY LIFE OF SHUKAR SINGH
Shukar Singh was a hard-working electrician in Raj Cinema in Delhi. He has worked for 50 years in this cinema. For his entire life, he worked round the clock to provide a better future for his family. As every common family man, he also had his future retirement plans. However, the fortune didn’t seem to favor him.
PRESENT LIFE OF SHUKAR SINGH
He has never thought in his youthful days; that he has to spend his weathering days abandoned in a shop. It was his time to spend these days in comfort, but at the age of 80, he is living under a leaking roof, barely having food to eat. The washroom is also not covered and is unhygienic. The place is sprawling with ants, rats, and mosquitos. His living conditions are unsafe, as he is using a table fan with improper wiring. He is living at the mercy of people nearby.
