Shubhajit Mondal is a research scholar, doing PhD at New Delhi, and also the husband of Sonanki Mahapatra. He is at the 7th year of his work and about to finish his PhD. But recently he was admitted to the hospital on 15th June 2024, with a pancreatic infection. He was in the ICU for many days. After a few days he was transferred from Kolkata to Hyderabad via air ambulance. Since then he has been admitted to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad. He is constantly being monitored and frequently being transferred from ventilator to CCU to ICU according to his health conditions on a daily basis. Approximately 42 lakhs rupees have already been spent still he is not completely cured. Doctors are saying ' this kind of infection requires more than 2 months of intense care'. So we are constantly worried about his well-being. He needs even more medical attention for the next 2 months also. so we would like to raise a fund for his treatment and complete recovery. The total budget has been estimated up to 70 Lakh/-.
