This appeal of a fundraiser is for my mother who got detected for a tumour in her intestine.The cancer was at a stage where the tumour was at the verge of spreading to other parts of her body and so she had to be operated immediately at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. A week later she got a discharge from the hospital, but again within a week she developed a complication. A leak was found in the region where the intestine was joined after cutting away the tumour. For this she had to be readmitted and got operated for the second time. At the age of 72 and with a cardiac history in the past, undergoing two operations within a span of a month has taken a toll on her health and currently she is having a poor recovery at the hospital. The bill of the earlier admission had already burdened us financially wherein a second admission with a prolonged recovery is only adding to our plight and bogging us down financially.

We are really in need of funds. We have already utilized all our sources in making payments at the hospital and now are left with no option but to resort to this crowdfunding platform to meet our financial needs.
We thus humbly request you to please contribute by whatever amount that is possible by you in helping my mother fight this illness that has drained us financially. We now desperately want her back home, which is possible only once she is all fine in her health and once we are able to pay off the total amount of the hospital bill.
We urgently need a help of  ₹7,00,000 (Seven lakhs only). Hope we would be able to raise this amount through this fundraiser and soon be able to get her back home.
