This is Shivani, a student of Second year ,3rd semester from Sri Venkateswara College. I am pursuing B.Sc in Chemistry.
How will the funds help me?
They will help me pay my fees for the 2nd year as well as buy lab equipments and certain books. I also plan to help my family out with some ration as recently due to heavy rains in Delhi, we lost majority of our grain savings.
If given the opportunity, I can assure you that I will follow my passion and will be able to go for further studies. Me and my family will be forever obliged to you.
Why the fundraiser?
The financial condition at my home has not been stable for quite some months. My father is an e-rickshaw driver and my mother is a housewife. The ricksaw that we own, broke down 3 months back and the income from the same has stopped. My mother has not been able to earn much because of her health condition. Whatever we earn is also used in the education of my four siblings.
I am unable to afford my college fees for this year. It was with great difficulty that I was able to pay my for the 1st year, but it almost seems unachievable this time.
I belong to the SC category, and with great difficulty I have been able to continue with my education.
