Hi. This is Shefali Hegde ,I am trying to help 5000 families with Ration kits and Oxygen Cylinders. I am tying up with Freedom for You NGO to make my work faster and better.
The Covid -19 virus continues to ravage and the marginalised are once again on the edge of being hungry and desperate. Last year we provided ration support to 4000 families multiple times (approx 2 lakh meals) and this time we plan to do more. Several Women -led houses and families which couldn't restart their work are in need of basic necessities like food, masks and medicines throughout Mumbai. We plan to distribute ration kits to as many needy families as possible.
I and a friend of mine are also building a team to organise and transport Oxygen cylinders specifically for critical and needy patients. There is a big need to refill them and home-deliver and we are willing to help out in this aspect. Firstly we are planning to focus on food as not a lot of NGOs are working on it right now.
We ask for your support in our mission.
We are tying up with an NGO- Freedom For You and giving tax benefit to donors under 80G is possible.
About Freedom For You foundation: they supported around 12690 families with ration kits, set up several vaccination camps, built skilling centers in Ratnagiri and are now involved in immediate relief and supply of O2 cylinders in Maharashtra.

Rice 5 kg
Wheat aata - 5 Kg
Sugar- 1 kg
Daal- 2 kg
Tea leaves - 500 gmOil-1 litre
Biscuits- 2 packets
Rai, jeera, haldi, mirchi powder- 1 packet each
This kit comes in rs. 800. To basically support one family of 5 people with all these essentials, it takes Rs. 1700- 1800 a month.
For Oxygen cylinders,
Oxygen Cylinders And Refilling = 8000/- to 10000/- New Oxygen Cylinders 8000*50= 400000
If you donate Rs. 1800 you will ensure a family with children eats enough for 30 days.
