Shatabdi Banerjee Mishra, mother of 4 year kid Shinjini, is a lady full of life and a dedicated teacher at Heritage Experiential School at Gurgaon. She is the strongest lady I have seen balancing her role as mother and a teacher seamlessly for years. But fate has a different plan and the deadly covid 19 hit her family few weeks back. As her CT scan is not good and SPO2 was dropping, she was admitted to Max Hospital in Patparganj on 21st April. She was treated with Covid 19 medications, but situation deteriorated and she had to be shifted to ICU with HFNC oxygen support. On May 3rd here situation worsened further, and SpO2 dropped and the doctors put her in Mechanical Invasive ventilation. Since then she is in ventilation support without a considerable improvement or deteriorated.
Her family is standing with her in the fight but their finances are quickly drying up with the treatment cost. Already the treatment cost is 20 lakh and it is expected to increase at 1.5 lakh per day. Also the treatment options open are putting her on ECMO or continue to be on mechanical ventilation for longer term (! 2-3 weeks +) which requires at least another 30 lakh INR. This is a cost beyond our affordability even after exploring all options we have.
With this we sincerely need help from all of you to support Shinjini to have her mother back at home. She is waiting to see here for weeks now and we all want to bring her mother back.
Please help us in providing Shatabdi the finances to fight the illness and she is a fighter in real life and we are sure she will fight back!
