💔 Help Save My Mother (Age 64) Fighting Autoimmune Encephalitis
My mother, aged 64, is bravely fighting for her life after being diagnosed with Autoimmune (IGI I) Encephalitis, a rare and serious condition that affects the brain. Her struggle has become even harder as she developed LRTI (Lower Respiratory Tract Infection) and a hospital-acquired infection, requiring continuous intensive care and specialised treatment.
She has been under treatment since August 10, 2025, moving from one hospital to another in search of the right care — Harita Hospital (Rajahmundry), Manipal Hospital (Vijayawada), and NIMHANS (Bangalore) — and is now being treated at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bangalore.
Over the last few months, our family has spent over ₹20,00,000 on her treatment. However, the expenses keep mounting. The daily cost of treatment at St. John’s exceeds ₹50,000, amounting to nearly ₹10,00,000 per month, which is far beyond our financial capacity.
We have already exhausted all our savings and taken help from friends and relatives, yet the cost of ICU care, life-saving medicines, and ongoing treatment continues to rise every day.
Now, we are left with no option but to seek help from kind-hearted people like you.
