The cyclone has hit villages in Raigad Ratnagiri district on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra. It has damaged a large number of houses and destroyed orchards. In Dapoli taluka of Ratnagiri district, 176 villages are in darkness due to power outages. It is planned to give them candles and food grains immediately.

In Dapoli talukas of Ratnagiri district, funds are required for candles, solar lamp and food grains for Anjarle Harne and 10 other villages on the coast. There is an urgent need to supply 1000 dozen candles at present. The work will be done through Sewayog pratishthan Karad through this fund.
