Delhi is in the middle of intense communal violence. Over 50 people have died, hundreds injured and thousands affected. The worst affected localities are Maujpur, Gokulpuri, Shiv Vihar, Mustafabad and Khajuri Khas.
SEWA Delhi and SEWA Bharat are coordinating relief efforts in Rajeev Nagar, Mustafabad and Gokulpuri (as of now but this will expand as the violence abates), and appreciate any and all support you can provide. All donations will:
1. Directly go towards meeting immediate and emergent needs (food staples, sanitary needs, water, medicines).
2. Link survivors to government services such as compensation schemes, social security, death benefits and replacement of burnt/damaged documents.
