A group of volunteers from 'Elders Adda / V The Volunteers' have been constantly involved in conducting various fun activities / games at different old age homes across the Chennai for over a long period now. All of it to ensure that the elders are stimulated mentally, physically, and socially to maintain their health and to avoid depression, isolation and the risk of developing dementia.

The concept of 'Mudhiyor Thiruvizha' is to create a rural fest (Thiruvizha) like environment and bring elders from various old age homes across the city, together under one roof to achieve a sense of accomplishment in serving them a deserving fun-filled memorable day to add to their sweetest memories.

This 'Mudhiyor Thiruvizha (Elders Fest)', more than 250 senior citizens from various old age homes are expected to grace the occasion!! We are hoping to make it a bigger celebration for all the elders with all your participation.

It costs Rs.1250 to sponsor an elder. Your contribution can help us provide transport, breakfast, lunch, snacks, variety of games to play, stage to showcase their talent, goodies for games and one common gifts for all elders.
