    send underserved girls to GHCI

from New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi

Hi, I’m Japnit, founder of Go Girl Foundation. I started Go Girl when I was 16 with a simple belief: no girl should be left behind because of where she comes from.

Over the years, I’ve met countless young women studying engineering and technology across India, many from small towns and underserved communities. They are talented, hardworking, and ambitious. But too often, they lack access to the networks, mentorship, and exposure that help turn potential into real career opportunities.

That is why Go Girl Foundation has partnered with AnitaB.org India, the regional chapter of a global nonprofit advancing women in technology.
Together, we are building a pathway program that helps young women move from education to opportunity, equipping them with the support systems, skills, and connections they need to grow into confident professionals.
This campaign will help us launch the first cohort of young women beginning this journey.

What This Program Provides
Each supported participant will gain access to a year-long development pathway that includes:

Community Access
Membership in the AnitaB.org global community of women & allies in technology connects them with peers, mentors, and industry professionals.

1:1 Mentorship
Guidance from experienced professionals who help students navigate career choices, build confidence, and plan their professional growth.

Skills & Upskilling Sessions
Technical and career-readiness workshops are designed to help participants build practical skills needed for the workplace.

Career Exposure
Opportunities to connect with recruiters, companies, and professionals in the technology ecosystem.

Industry Exposure Opportunities
Some participants may also get the opportunity to attend Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI), Asia’s largest conference for women in technology, where they can expand their networks and explore career possibilities.

Why This Matters
Every year, thousands of young women graduate with technology degrees in India.

Yet many from underserved backgrounds face barriers that go beyond education - limited professional networks, lack of mentorship, and fewer opportunities to connect with industry.

Programs like this help bridge that gap.

When young women gain access to mentorship, skills, and professional communities, they are far more likely to transition successfully into meaningful careers.

And when one young woman advances, the impact often extends to her family, her community, and the next generation.

What Your Support Will Enable
This campaign aims to raise ₹10,00,000 to support the first cohort of participants in this program.

Your contribution helps support:

• mentorship programs
• skill-building workshops
• community engagement and support
• access to industry networks and opportunities
• scholarships for program participation

With your help, we can create a stronger support system that ensures talent and ambition, not background, determines opportunity.
