Fund is to safe guard Kapra Lake a 100 acre lake in Secunderabad, Telangana, India. Funds will be used for cameras and physical security of the area, anti-littering drives, posters, modern dustbins and removal of waste from lake body (especially plastic) planting trees as this lake attracts many migrant birds.

We're thrilled to announce a new initiative aimed at safeguarding Kapra Lake, a precious 100-acre lake in Secunderabad, Telangana, India. Your support is crucial as we embark on this journey to preserve this natural treasure.

Phase 1: Cleanliness
To ensure the cleanliness of Kapra Lake, we are allocating funds for:
Composters for flowers and leaves.
Collecting photos of gods and goddesses for safe disposal.
Conducting anti-littering drives and installing modern dustbins and informative posters.
Regular removal of waste, particularly plastics, from the lake.
Planting trees to enhance the habitat for migrant birds that frequent the lake.


Phase 2: Water Quality and Ecosystem Enhancement, moving forward we plan to:
Conduct comprehensive quality and quantity analysis of water in the lake and its inlets.
Expand the scope of inlet management to improve water flow and quality.
Implement phytoremediation methods to naturally purify the lake water.
