Dear Friends,
I have known my friend Santosh. S (aged 28 years), for a long time now. Santosh has been suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease stage V which was diagnosed in 2018 and was put on on Hemodialysis thrice a week.
He was working for a Software Company but was unable to manage his work due to the strenuous procedure called Hemodialysis.
His health wasn’t supporting him to continue the work to meet his monthly medical expenses as well. His father's earnings, working as a school bus driver was only sufficient to meet his family's monthly basic needs.
The access called AVFistula needed for his dialysis is not supporting him well as it is ending up with failure, so he is undergoing dialysis with the help of a catheter inserted in his chest.
Its been almost 9 months, Santosh is undergoing dialysis and the doctors advised him to go for a kidney transplant and after taking some tests, his father seems to be an eligible donor.
Since Santosh is not covered by insurance, his parents are running from pillar to post to arrange funds for his transplant. The estimation for his transplant costs around 10 – 12 lakhs.
Hence I appeal to the donors out there to help my friend - A KIDNEY WARRIOR- to help him financially so that he can get the "Gift of Life" and be free of dialysis.
