Hi,
I'm Herve, a French father living in the United Kingdom.
I have been recently touched by the story of my dear friend Sanober from Mumbai. I wish to support her and help this old man.

I have been recently touched by the story of my dear friend Sanober from Mumbai. I wish to support her and help this old man.

Here's Sanober's Story: " The Most Important Post I've ever written...
A couple of days back, I went for a ride to Mud Island. While going towards the Daana Paani forest, I saw this uncle who was standing with the bag on the side of the road. I wondered if he wanted a lift and seeing the weight in his hand I didn't know if I'll be able to carry them. So I thought let me come back and check while returning. I made a mental note of returning fast....but forgot. I returned after almost an hour.

That Uncle was still there, but this time sleeping while sitting. I tried a lot to wake him up without touching him, of course, because of the COVID thing. He didn't wake up. Later I realized he is deaf and mute.

A little boy on a cycle stopped, and both of us shook him. He wasn't drunk. We smelled him. We saw his bag 'thaili'. There were plastic bottles in it. When he woke up he had tears in his eyes.

He gestured he is hungry. I had some chips and snacks and money which I gave him. The boy gave him the biscuits. He was thirsty. So we tried to ask the villager for some water. They refused. I saw God's pictures on their door and said God will bless you if you serve water to a thirsty. They then gave him water in a new thick bottle.
Two other guys on Activa stopped. We learned from this Uncle (he spoke in gestures) that he wanders and sleeps there in the forest or village roads. Some good soul has given him a blanket. He must be a rag picker. But now even the police don't touch him. The shop which must have collected rag from him is locked down. Nobody wants to be around him. What to do?

Does anyone have a better idea? Is there a Provision we can do for him for these 21 days. He is Very Old Guy. "
Can you help us in these difficult times?
Thank you for your blessed heart. Take care
Herve
