We are raising funds for the family of our colleague, Saikat Roy, who tragically passed away last Friday after suffering a severe brain stroke on 13th March and fighting for his life in the ICU for seven days.
Saikat, 42, had been part of BT for the last four years, starting in the Shared Desk team in Kolkata. Just four months ago, he moved to the Rio Tinto team as an Incident Manager, where he quickly proved to be an exceptional talent—calm under pressure, technically strong, and always ready to help anyone who needed support. His positive attitude and dedication made him an immediate asset to the team.
- A Family Left Behind: Saikat was the sole earning member of his family.
He is survived by:
- His aged father, who depended entirely on him
- His wife, a homemaker with no independent income
- His two young sons—twins studying in Class 3, who heartbreakingly celebrated their birthday on the very day they lost their father
Why We Are Raising Funds?
This campaign has been created to support:
- Education of Saikat’s twin sons
- Financial support for his homemaker wife
- Care and well‑being of his elderly father
- Immediate relief for the family as they cope with this sudden loss
How Can You Help?
Your contribution, no matter the amount, will directly help secure the future of Saikat’s children and provide stability to his grieving family.
- Please donate
- Please share this campaign widely
- Please keep the family in your prayers
