Dear Family and Friends,
This is a fund raising initiative for one of our closest friend.
Salman Shariff, 29 years old, who met with a tragic accident on 19th Feb 2020 around 6.30 AM. He was immediately admitted in Sagar Hospital (Bannerghatta road) by spectators at 7.15 AM. He is in a very Critical condition now.
He is diagnosed to have Diffused Axonal Injury grade III (with hemorrhage into corpus calossum and brain stem). His Femur bone on both the legs were fractured and was shifted to neuro-ICU post diagnosis. Femur Fracture was fixed on the same day by 5 hours long surgery.
Currently he is in COMA and is supported by Ventilator (24 hours) and other medicines to avoid any secondary brain damage. The Femur surgery costed 3.9 lakhs and the non- medical bill came up to ~70,000/- for two days.
Per day ICU Charges are expected to be around 50,000 – 60,000/- excluding the medicine charges.
The insurance is already exhausted and the family is not in a situation to support financially for long term. I have attached the required medical documents which has complete history of the patient, his current status, MRI reports and estimated bill. Kindly circulate among your friends and spread the word.
We are not losing hope and we are trying our best to get him back. Please help him fight for his life.
