Hello Everyone,
My name is Nandani Kumari, and I am raising funds for my younger sister, Sakshi Kumari.
For the past two years, Sakshi has been struggling with recurring abdominal health issues. Despite numerous doctor visits, medical tests, and treatments, her condition remained undiagnosed. Recently, after continuous suffering and multiple hospital consultations, a detailed CT scan finally revealed the heartbreaking truth — acute small bowel obstruction with intestinal perforation (a burst intestine).
This is a life-threatening medical emergency. Due to the rupture, a severe infection spread throughout her abdomen, and she had to undergo emergency surgery on 6th November 2025 at Sri Vinayak Trauma Centre & Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Patna. Sakshi is still in the ICU under close medical supervision. Her condition remains critical, and doctors are monitoring her around the clock. She will need to stay in the ICU for several more days, and her overall recovery will take time. Because of the seriousness of her condition, the doctors have also advised that she will require lifelong medical observation.
We still do not know how much more the treatment will cost, as expenses are rising every day. A huge amount has already been spent on surgery, ICU care, and medicines, and the family has completely exhausted their savings.
Sakshi’s father is the sole breadwinner, and his limited income cannot cover the overwhelming medical expenses. The family has already borrowed heavily and is now buried in debt after two years of continuous medical care and this sudden emergency surgery.
