In August last year, Sajeeda begum started complaining of stomach pain.
 Her pain became unbearable and her skin turned pale. One city after another, her son took her to all the hospitals he was referred to. Months passed by and my mom's condition just kept getting worse.

With the pandemic and lockdown, her tests and treatment got delayed. She got so weak that she could barely stand straight, let alone walk. But when her ailment was finally diagnosed, it just...it was hard to believe that my mom has cancer.” she needs chemotherapy to survive.

Sajeeda begum was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a type of pelvis cancer stage iii.  Doctors advised her son to start his treatment immediately. So he ran from pillar to post arranging all the funds he could, at last, he arranged money by borrowing from relatives and friends and Sajeeda got a treatment of chemotherapy for 12 weeks and she underwent the SURGERY which was successful and after again CHEMOTHERAPY for 6 weeks. And his son spent around 10 lakhs on CHEMOTHERAPY treatment and for Surgery.

Doctors informed her son that his mom needs to take Radiotherapy treatment immediately. This will be the last course. She needs radiotherapy treatment continuously daily for 5 weeks to beat cancer. It would cost them more than 2 Lakh rupees which they cannot afford. but it is nowhere near to the amount they would need to cure Majeed.
