Hello everyone. I would like to start by thanking everyone who has gone out of their way to give me hope. Thank you.
I am Sajan, hailing from Pooovachal, Thiruvananthapuram and I have been working as a nonteaching staff in a school for the past 19 years. We have always managed to get by. Me, my wife who works as a teacher in a school, and our two lovely daughters.
My whole life turned upside down when I was diagnosed with Stage-5 Chronic Kidney Disease. Doctors tell me that I have to undergo dialysis twice a week and that getting a transplant is what is recommended. A sum of 40 lakhs has to be raised for the same. Of this amount approximately 10 lakhs has already been raised by my friends and next of kin. The remaining amount, of 30 lakhs, is what we are hoping to raise through milaap.
This amount would cover the expense incurred by the surgery, hospital rent, and post-op recovery. I have no means of arranging this exorbitant amount required to see myself through this.
It is hard to go through every day trying to make it to the next and my family has been through quite a lot. I have seen people come in, and offer aid and this has given me a fighting chance. I have hope, hope that I manage to raise funds to make this easy on my family.
This is a humble request for you to understand my condition, the severity of it and empathize with me. I implore you to help me and I don't expect you to contribute financially, if you can please share this so that it can be picked up by someone else who can donate.
