Hello, My name is Sahadev Chincholikar, and this is my story where a series of unfortunate events has devastated my life & CoVid-19 was like just a salt rub on my wounds. I reside with my brother.

My father left us when I was 8 after a mentally stressful divorce episode. Mom had asked for our custody, and we moved to Bangalore. Despite Dad not giving any alimony or child support, my Mother was still determined to give us the best. Thus, she worked as a primary school teacher and sold sarees to support our education.

But the sudden demise of my maternal grandmother had made it worse as my maternal grandfather had transferred all the ancestral property to my maternal uncle who didn't want to share it with my Mom, so we had to vacate the house and shift to a rented place. Since she didn't have the funds to pay for the legal battle, My mom accepted her fate & let go of it.

As I grew up, I realized that I had to work to support my mom and help her repay the debts. Thus, as a result, I couldn't complete my education beyond class 10th which was too hard for me, yet we tried to do whatever possible including me working as a graphic designer without formal training. But then suddenly, after so many hardships, my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in January 2015 & my life took a downward spiral.

Sadly, the moment our relatives got to know that my mom was being treated for cancer, they abandoned us in fear that we will ask them for money. So during the entire procedure, I and my brother did everything alone & as treatment is expensive, we ended up taking loans for her treatment. But as fate had other plans, the Cancer relapsed in July 2017 and we had to again take loans for her treatment including surgery & a personal caretaker for my mother.

Around this time, I had also started a travel & tourism company.

Unfortunately in August 2018, after a lengthy & painful battle with breast cancer - my Mother passed away in the hospital ER. Even after that, no one from my maternal family came to my mother's funeral.

As I was working on the travel company, things were finally looking like they are going well as business was booming. But bad luck struck again in April 2019 as the already horrific Lankan Easter attack resulted in a massive loss in business as well. A lot of clients had cancelled their trip to Sri Lanka, so I had to take loans to clear all the deficit.

Meanwhile now due to travel restrictions caused by CoVid-19, the travel industry has also suffered a lot & has caused me to suffer further massive losses, and as of now I have no current source of income. I don't know when the travel industry will restart again.

Thus, right now, I am looking for an alternative source of income for the time being while the travel industry restarts. Since I have a passion for baking, I intend to start a home bakery with affordable prices in order to support ourselves & pay our existing debts until the situation normalizes. The funds which are raised will be used in paying:

Pending financial expenses: INR 30,000/-

Equipment and raw ingredients required: INR 30,000/-

Emergency funds: INR 13,400/-

Fundraiser Fees: INR 6,600/-
