We have started  to take care of needy and vulnerable families within Darjeeling town called URBAN RELIEF,

With the loss of income and no savings to fall back upon, people in the urban areas are facing major problems with regards to food supplies, medical issues, house rents, cooking gas, among many other things. Since a large number of families have approached us for help in the past few weeks, we have come together once again to assist them in any way we can. We have started liasioning with local samajs (communities) within Darjeeling and will be assisting them with relief as and when required.

Over the last week, we've visited five Samajs/ communities and provided food supplies to almost 200 affected families.

Since we are looking at a huge number of people that will require our help and assistance in the coming days, we wish to appeal to all our friends and well-wishers to come forward with their contribution and donation to help us save lives.

With the help of kind donors, we have already distributed about Rs 1 Lakh worth of items. But to further reach out to 3000 families, we need at least Rs 12 Lakh  which will provide them with Rs 400  worth of items
