rZamba began its interventions actively since 2019.Since then, we have been able to cater to more than 6000+ children's learning needs. Almost 250+ Youth learning facilitators from different communities mostly in Kargil and few in Leh (even in Kashmir and Jammu) engaged the children from their villages and neighborhood areas through creating Project Based Learning opportunities by the end of which more than 75% students improved at least 40% from their baseline learning levels and were able to run 35+ community learning centres throughout covid lockdown and school closure.
We want to support our communities, children and ensure they keep learning and someday create a ladakh where free quality education is equitable and accessible to all the children of ladakh.
