CHENNAI FOODBANK is a non-profitable voluntary organization WORKING FOR A HUNGER FREE WORLD SINCE 1993.
Chennai Food Bank has always been in the forefront of service to mankind, not only on a day to day basis, but always rose to the call, during natural calamities. This is another such day when we understand the hardship faced by people, mainly the medical staff at government hospitals, homeless and migrant workers, stranded due to the lockdown, following the COVID-19 crisis.
Chennai Food Bank has activated 2 networks to help the needy in these testing times. One being serving lunch and dinner to the medical staff at General Hospital, and the second one being, food to the homeless and stranded migrant workers. Basically anyone in need of food, in coordination with Corporation of Chennai. We have committed to provide lunch and dinner for 3000 such people each day for next few days.
This is for Corpus Donation and the funds raised will be utilised for the above cause and 3000 such people will be benefitted.
