Hello Again,

I am Rushika, currently residing in Ulundurpet, Kallakurichi, Tamil Nadu. I am a Transwoman and have no support from my family for education, employment, or transitioning. I was disallowed to travel to Chennai for work or educational opportunities. Due to my house arrest, I had a complete academic setback. But thankfully, at the end of July, I was able to reach out to the Milaap community to pursue my course for TAILORING and EMBROIDERY at G Tec International Fashion Designing Centre/Virudhachalam. For the past two months, I have been learning extensively from 10 AM to 4:30 PM, 6 days a week. The fee for my course was 11,000 Rs. and I also had to pay 1000 Rs. for the material. Currently, I need to buy the items on the following list: 

1) Design Paper - 6000 Rs.

2) Design Paper - 4000 Rs.
3) Blouse Bit - 600 Rs.
4) Thread - 300 Rs.
5) Churidhar - 2500 Rs

I require these items for practice and to successfully complete my examination. I have attached pictures of my work so far. I feel very empowered through this course as I am sure it can help change my life.

I request the Milaap community once again to help support me so that I may become financially independent.
