Meet Edith aka Eddy a 4 months old super cute & adorable desi pupper dropped straight from heaven.
Edith was born in Kolkata in a busy street was living with his family other 4 siblings and mother. One fine day when Edith was sleeping with his family a speedy car ran over his full family including him. Edith was crying in pain & lil did he found out all his family died on the spot & he is alone and can't walk at all. All night he cried in pain & begged for help however his painful crying couldn't melt anyone's heart. Whole night Edith was sobbing beside his dead family. Next morning a small girl noticed him at that time Edith was half conscious he could just see that small girl trying to gather help for him then some kind people rescued him and took him to a vet hospital where he got his x-ray done and found out collarbone fracture. They did plaster and his rescuer took him to a place where he used to live in a cage with zero movement. After few days when they opened plaster and did a repeat x-ray it came out that plaster was not done properly and his bones were not attached properly. Vet again did a plaster and also advised them for a pinning surgery. He was already anaemic & a pinning surgery for a small pup could have been fatal. His rescuer was not able to manage his treatment expenses and was thinking to send him to a shelter home. At that time I was visiting Kolkata and his rescuer got in touch with me to help.
By seeing his health condition and thinking about his future in an overcrowded shelter me and my friend Sonam decided to bring this boy to Delhi for his further treatment and re-homing.
It was not so easy to bring him to Delhi from Kolkata. I was already carrying 4 cats but I was deter minded to not to leave him there to die in a shelter even so arranged everything for him and by train I brought him to Delhi along with my cats. That same day I reached Delhi I had to rush to the vet directly from the station as his plaster was stinking. At vet we found out he has a deep cut on his underarms due to tight plaster. It was badly bleeding and totally infected. From that day Edith was on treatment and now he has recovered but due to wrong plaster for which his bones couldn't attach properly he has lil difficulty to walk properly.
Now we have decided to re-home in overseas and for that we need funds.
As of now we are raising 35000 INR.
Can you help Edith for that?
