There is a lot wrong with the world you live in “
- Chris Colfer
With this quote in mind, the team of Redo times in association with ITXITPro Pvt. Ltd. once again feels proud to put up the third edition of Feronia fashion night that is Feronia3.0 for the marginalized LGBTQ community.
Feronia 3.0 will be held on 1st September, 2019 at The Grand Bhagwati Palace, Indore. The theme of the show continues to be androgynous fashion which aims to break gender stereotype ingrained in our society.
This was the genesis of Feronia Fashion Night – India’s first androgynous fashion show where only the members of the LGBTQ community grace the ramp as the models of the show telling their story through the medium of fashion. We wanted to do our bit in helping the Transgenders and alternative sexualities to get the respect they deserve and be a part of our society.
The third edition of Feronia Fashion Night aims to bring models from different parts of India lending more voice to the fight for equal rights.
All the models participating in the show will once again belong to the LGBTQ community and this will help in making a statement of equal participation of the community in education, job opportunities and administration.
Once again, we have been shunned by perspective sponsors who claimed that the principles of the brands don't resonate with the LGBTQ community. So, once again, we are determined to make this event an even bigger success. Here is the breakdown of the expenses for the event -
Venue + High Tea + Accommodation for the Guests = 160000
Transport of the Team = 40000
Hospitality of Guests and Team = 30000
Stage + Light + Music + Decor = 110000
Videography = 10000
Please contribute whatever little you can, but try not passing this link without contributing - 2 packs of cigarettes is whats worth hope for a lot of models
