Ruby Singh is 20 years old and aspires to become lawyer. She lives with her Parents, 2 brother and 2 sisters and her niece in Madanpur Khaddar JJ colony (A resettlement Colony) , Her father used to work as a driver but due to his medical condition, he couldn't drive anymore and her mother does petty work to support the family. Her elder brother is now is the only breadwinner of the family and support in managing the house and her younger siblings.

Ruby is bright, smart, confident and hard working girl. She got 89 % on her 12th standard, but due of lack of financial support, she has not been able to get her admission in college. She expressed to be enrolled into Delhi University of Open Learning with Political Science Honours and later study Law. Since for now she is economically deprived, she would need to take some extra tuition classes and get books and other study material as well.
