Help my beloved son Ronak with funds to undergo Liver Transplant
My son Ronak is the apple of my eye. He is always full of life and is humorous and mature at the same time. When I look at his empty bed now, my heart sinks with grief.
Ronak, a vibrant 30 years old, is suffering from multiple organ failure and is battling for his life each second on a ventilator in ICU for the past few days. The cost of treatment is 1.5-2 lacs per day and the treatment can go on for a few months. We are running out of funds and your help can help save our son’s life.
Ronak got diagnosed with an illness in October 2021. After undergoing the treatment for 3 months, he fully recovered. But in April 2022, he had Jaundice along with several other health issues. We were getting the treatment from a good hospital in Delhi, but his condition suddenly got critical.
On 3rd May 2022, we found his health suddenly got much worse and he could hardy breathe, could not eat, move his body, or even speak clearly. Three people tried to help him stand but he could not move. We called the ambulance and admitted him in the emergency ward of a renowned hospital in Dwarka. On the way, I told him that he is a fighter, and this is a fight he has to win for himself and the family.
On 4th May, hospital informed us that his health is in severe condition and confirmed complete liver failure and recommended him to be admitted in ICU with immediate effect. Due to liver failure, he had developed another health condition of Ascites resulting in too much water build up in his abdomen (belly) and he had problems in breathing. His sodium, potassium and bilirubin levels changed to life threatening levels.
On 5th May, doctor informed us that he has multiple organ failure and chances of his survival are very bleak. Apart from complete liver failure, his kidney was not functioning properly, his platelets were reducing to alarming levels and his vitals were not good. When we went to see him in ICU, the only line he said was “Bahut dard ho raha hai”.
On 6th May, the hospital put him on Ventilator (Life support) and informed that he is in a very critical condition, and they were not positive about his diagnosis. The Doctor told us that chances of his survival are nil. Reluctantly, we had no option but to risk his life and move him to another hospital 10 minutes away in Dwarka in an ambulance with ventilator. Thankfully, he arrived safely and started stabilizing. However, his kidney condition had started deteriorating.
On 7th May, his kidney situation got much worse, and his chest had severe pneumonia.
On 8th May, his situation was very grim. We had tears in our eyes that we could not stop.

On 9th May, his vitals were stable and some of his test results became better. He blinked and communicated in yes when we asked him if he could listen to us. However, he was still in a very critical condition.
Currently health condition stays deteriorated. His Kidney is not responding and due to liver failure, his body is struggling to function. Doctors have informed that his only chance to survive is liver transplant and the same can be done only after he gets stable. Once he gets stable, we will have a very short window to do the liver transplant. However, taking him to desired stability for liver transplant is a long and painful journey looking at his current condition.
Latest updates are in the Updates section.
