My name is Rohit Shrestha, and I am here to raise funds for my 20-year-old brother, Rohan Shrestha. He lives with us in Kolkata, West Bengal, and has always been a bright and ambitious student, preparing for the NEET entrance exam to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. However, his journey took a devastating turn when he fell seriously ill.
In December 2024, Rohan was diagnosed with jaundice, but despite continuous treatment for two months and being shifted between two different hospitals, his condition only worsened. Local doctors failed to recognize the severity of his illness, and by the time we got him admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Kolkata, the shocking truth was revealed—Rohan was suffering from liver failure.
For 11 days, he underwent hundreds of tests and multiple plasma therapy sessions, and we were left with an overwhelming hospital bill of Rs. 10,00,000. Despite all efforts, doctors informed us that the only way to save his life is through an urgent liver transplant.
Currently, Rohan is admitted to AIG Hospital, Hyderabad, where he is awaiting the transplant. Until now, we have somehow managed to arrange Rs. 14,00,000 through savings and loans. But we are now at a breaking point—we need Rs. 30,00,000 more for the transplant and further treatment.
We are desperate and running out of time. Rohan is fighting for his life, and we need your help to save him.
