It's been over 50 days that the lockdown has been implemented across India owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. This has adversely affected the marginalized communities and people in distress who have neither food to eat nor money to buy the same and are struggling to survive.
RISE Infinity Foundation in partnership with partner organizations has till date provided ration kits and essentials to families across the country. While a lot of such support in terms of family ration kits, hygiene kits, etc had been provided to such individuals in the initial days of the lockdown, it was never anticipated that the lockdown would be extended trice and to this extent.  Most of the earlier supplies distributed to these individuals from the funds raised earlier, have by now been exhausted or on the verge of getting over. Even if the lockdown is partially lifted and some economic activity resumes, it would be a month before these individuals get some money, if at all they manage to get some work.
RISE Infinity Foundation is working towards identifying and supporting such individuals by providing them with ration kits and essentials which will sustain a family of four for around two weeks. Each kit will contain basic items such as rice, wheat, dal, oil, tea powder, salt, sugar, and few biscuit packets.
