The coronavirus pandemic has increased the divide between rich and poor. Many poor students are unable to attend their online classes because they don't have smartphones. We are providing deserving students with simple smartphone devices to attend online classes - so they can continue their education without hurdles.

Our fantastic staff members have risen to the challenge and continue to provide their very best in every online class - teaching core subjects, conducting regular assessments and keeping the children engaged with co-curricular activities. A little help from you will ensure our deserving students can attend their classes along with their friends.

Our Problem in Detail:
Most of our students belong to low and single-income families that have been the worst affected with the onset of COVID19. Their fragile financial situation is further threatened by job losses and a severe scarcity of resources.

We ran a survey amongst our students to find out interested and deserving students who are not able to connect for online classes. We heard back from 25 students whose parents' annual income is less than INR 50000 and would like to get help for smartphones. We know of at least 5 more students who were not able to even take the survey due to a lack of smartphones.

For helping our students, we plan to buy basic new/old smartphones that are good enough for online education.

Cost of a smartphone(Like Samsung M02, Redmi 9A)  = Around 7,500
Students in need of a smartphone for classes = 30
Total amount we are looking to raise = Rs.7,500*30 = Rs.225,000

After the pandemic, we will use these smartphones to further enrich the experience of all our students through smartphone labs/resources.
