"Rise for tails '' is working tirelessly since 2020 before and during the pandemic to feed and serve the stray dogs in Nagpur Maharashtra . What started of as a feeding campaign, with 30 feeders who fed 3000 plus dogs in Nagpur, Pune and Mumbai has grown into something much bigger . With Kind donors We established a rescue center in Nagpur and are now working towards a goal to save and rescue emergency cases for stray dogs and abandoned animals . With the help of this campaign we aim to raise funds for Renovating our Rehabilitation centre , Buy medical equipment and medicine, install all-weather water pots, conduct vaccination drives, perform and pay for neuter and release programs and perform feeding drives etc. We have touched the lives of thousands of animals and successfully rescued hundreds of animal in the past 1 year. Currently about 40 dogs stay at our shelter; and they need food, water, medicines , vaccinations etc for their upkeep. Our aim is to have enough space and segregations to be able to attend to other animals in the near future Renovation cost for approximately 4000sq. ft. of indoor spaces (that includes 2 pre constructed indoor sheds)&Construction of 2000 sq. ft. of outdoor spaces is around 30 lakhs(which includes buying medical equipment also)

1.Medical Facilities & Services-
- Our aim to provide world class medical services and facilities to stray and abandoned animals for free and minimum charges to pets .
 These would include timely examinations and treatment, surgical interventions, nutritional consultancy, Isolation wards for Infectious diseases and hospitalisation wards for primary rehabilitation of pets2.Medical Team -
To ensure that the animals are treated in right condition that is not mentally stressful , we will have an in-house team of expert of medicine that are  passionate and ethical veterinary doctors from different faculties. This will help in timely diagnosis, effective treatment and speedy recovery of the animals.
3.Learning programs
It is of utmost important to create awareness, embibe love for and be passionate towards the animals. We are planning to impart trainings to animal lovers to create an awareness on key pet welfare issues like vaccination, nutritional requirement, neutering, first aid etc. to create more aware and compassionate citizens for the future. We would also like to extend this to schools / education systems to inculcate good values and compassion by having workshops / outings that include visiting the shelters which will include interaction with the animals thereby learning and teaching how to act around animals etc. Awareness, empathy and compassion should start at the grass root level.4. Sterilization program -
 We are already performed 80+ birth control( spay and neuter for dogs ) operations at the shelter where we catch a stray / community animal , perform surgery, nurse them back to health and release them in their areas . The facility needs to be upgraded with better post operative care facilities5. Feeding drive
It includes buying food for the stay dogs. Our plan is not only to feed more dogs everyday and to reach more areas, but also to provide a substantial nourishing meal to them.
