Help Revathi to fight menangitis & fungus in her brain...

Hi, I am Shylaja and I am here to raise funds for my friend Revathi Prem, 48 yrs old who is suffering from Meningitis from the past few days. We studied together in Vidya Mandir. I've known Revathi Prem for 44 years.

Revathi got married in 1995, but as the proverb goes - "All good things must come to an end" & Revathi who was just 25yrs while crossing MG road after a 2nd show movie in then Plaza theater along with her husband, became a culprit of an accident for no wrong of hers, which was the first brunt in her life. The irresponsible driver who dashed her just sped away.

In 1998 she gave birth to a son and was very happy. But looks like God never wanted to see her happy again. The accident and the child birth had adverse effect on her kidneys. 1999 she had a kidney failure which needed continous monitoring due to which Prem gaveup his job and opted to take care of her. The Dialysis treatment ended with a Kidney transplantation in 2003 after which life had become too miserable as she could not be exposed to even a minute infection.  Prem cared during day and started working as a night driver as he had to attend to the monthly Post Op Med Expenses incurring upto Rs. 10,000/-, which has added to his debts and loans.

A sudden infection in Sep-Oct 2019, gave her loss of hearing, and on further diagnosis she was asked to take treatment for Menegitis. (Meningitis is an inflammation of the protective membrane covering the brain and spinal cord. A bacterial or viral infection of the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord usually causes this swelling. However, injuries, cancer, certain drugs, and other types of infections also can cause meningitis.)

with the help and support of many good souls, she was cured from menengitis and discharged.

God is cruel sometimes and he never wants to mend his ways....Revathi fell sick again in May and was admitted to Vaidehi hospital on 02/05/2020 and spent about 1.95 laks.  Since it was not improveing deu to various reasons Vaidehi hospital asked her husband PremKumar to visit Nimhans & they shifted on 28/05/2020, cleared the bill at 7.00pm, but unfortunately when they visited Nimhans, they checked all the reports and said this is multi organ treatment Case and referred to multi specialty hospital, they asked Prem to visit St . Johns hospital and finally at midnight on 29/05/2020 1.00am she was admitted in MICU, after  3days treatment they diagnosed & said there is Fungus in Brain, which they are saying it will cost approximately 5lakhs, at this point of time this is very very huge amount for him.

I kindly request you to donate in the name of your parents, kids, kith n kin & friends.  If you can't donate request you to share this message in your groups and just make a small prayer for Revathi. Bcos sometimes Prayers work wonders too and thus support this ever loving husband.
As a mother my effort is to see that the kid and mother unite for ever and Revathi gets back her Happy Family..
