I am Aditi, I am a 31 year old single woman. I have given up my personal life, my career and my marriage to serve animals in distress. I need your help from going homeless with my animals!
I am a mother to over 150 rescued animals.
I run a rehab/shelter in a small village in Dombivali, 50kms away from Mumbai. Being a single woman running a shelter alone in India is a huge challenge in itself.
We are in a distress situation as we have been asked to vacate our current shelter premise and move out along with all our animals. The local politicians, cops and local inhabitants in the area have come together to drive us away from our currebt shelter premises.
Our shelter and we are currently running at capacity ranging between 150 to 200 dogs and cats. The animals that include sick, injured, paralysed, motherless, blind and abandoned cats & dogs. We also get community animals vaccinated and sterilized.
We will have to acquire a space where in all our animals are safe and they have a permanent home. We have been attacked, abused and tortured by some locals and we feel no longer safe here.
We desperately need your help to start accumulating funds to be able to move out of the property.
Street animals in India live a miserable life. The locals look at them as a threat and most of these street dogs and cats are neglected and harassed. There is very little awareness amongst the masses, hence we end up facing a lot of backlash on a regular basis.
The animals that come to us are admitted without any fees. Reason being, the reporters of the cases are extremely poor and can barely makes ends meet for their own families.
We are fully dependent on funds, supplies and food on our supporters, who have empowered me at every step to do better & more. Although we are always behind in payments, I have full faith in the power of law of attraction. I just keep doing what I can and the universe helps me back in the form of donations from kind people.
Donate whatever little you can today, so that we can build a sanctuary for the unloved and ignored animals.
