The Temjen Memorial School (TMS) is located in remote village of Kuthur under Tuensang District of Nagaland State, India. There are approximately 200 students in this primary school. The School is sponsored by the Kuthur Baptist Church and is not funded by Government or any other NGOs. The students here are mostly from the poor villagers whose occupations are farmers and daily wage laborers families. As a result, the pressure of paying their fees on the parents is really saddening nevertheless the expenses on the well being of the students. Now, due to the Covid-19 lock down in the country most of the parents of the students are not able to earn enough to meet the days end. Since most of the parents are either farmers or daily wage labourers, they are unable to afford to pay for medications, sanitizing items, masks, preventive items, etc to prevent them from the current pandemic. I am raising this fundraising to equip the children with proper preventive stuffs from the Covid-19 pandemic, to sensitize them through their parents through online/social media how to stay safe from the pandemic. Any amount collected will directly be used to purchase proper masks, hand sanitizers, and to help them for the hospitalization if any of them are infected with the pandemic or any other diseases.
