My name is Rameshwar, and I am writing this from a teach for India classroom in Swargeeya Vitthal Tupe School in Pune. I teach a bunch of 100 curious, compassionate, and starry-eyed 5th graders.

Pandemic has taken habits of reading from children. As school open we have taken Reading comprehension test of all 5th grade. The level they should be is 1.5 but out of 100 only 8 students are at 1.5 RC level and 60% are at 0.0 Level. They can't even read basic words. To change this pitcher we want to create a small library for all children. We want to buy story books and some dictionary.
Oue school has strength of 2000 students from 1st to 7th,but there are no Story books for students to read. To change this picture we want to start a small library for 5th graders. We would like to have around +100 Story books & 10 dictionary in our small library.
What do kind of books we want to buy for our library.
1. Story Books.
Our 90% of children can't read their level textbook, but Children love reading story books. Story books can enhance reading comprehension and create interest in reading. For our children we want to buy story books from Pratham. There are wonderful story books of Level-1. we would like to have more than 50 story books in our small library.
2. Dictionary:
We want to keep some dictionary in our small library. Children's vocabulary can be grow if they start using dictionary. To help our children have a strong vocabulary and skill of using dictionary we want to buy +10 dictionary for our children.
3. Phonetics/Spelling games.
To help our children learn writing. We would like to have some phonetics and spelling games. This games help children learn in fun way.
