Hi, I'm Kiran, my father Ramesh Suryawanshi was recently diagnosed with a rare post-Covid Mucormycosis. This is a rare and serious fungal infection with a high mortality rate. Three weeks before, he was admitted to a hospital for COVID treatment as he became breathless. He struggled with Pneumonitis and uncontrolled high blood sugar. Whilst he was recovering, unfortunately, he got infected with this dangerous fungal infection.
Currently, he is admitted and receiving treatment at NOBLE HOSPITAL, PUNE. The treatment for Mucormycosis is very expensive and sadly, we cannot afford it. We urgently need financial help to raise money for further treatment. He is 50 years old and jobless since the first wave of the COVID pandemic. He needs 30 days of hospitalization with a very expensive treatment of daily 7 injections of Amphonex B and Picasa-GR tablets. He recently had eye surgery to remove the fungal infection. Doctors still think he is critical and might have to remove his right eye if the infection doesn't get controlled in the new few days. Also, there is a high risk of infection spread to the brain which could be fatal. His body is fighting but we need financial support to keep the fight going.
We all are praying and Doctors are trying hard to avoid any further spread.
We've arranged some amount from our savings & contributions however, for the next 30 days, we need Rs.15 lakhs for further treatment.
