My name is Vrushali and I am here to raise funds for my father Ram Birari who is 65 years old. My father is born and brought up in Nashik.
The last month has been very challenging for our family. First it was both my mother Manorama Birari and father Ram Birari who were admitted to Vakratund Hospital, Nashik after getting infected with COVID. Fortunately now my mother recovered but unfortunately my father is still struggling to recover from COVID Pneumonia. My father Ram Birari's condition deteriorated even after 23 days of undergoing treatment at Vakratund Hospital and he was shifted to another hospital- Suyash Hospital in Nashik itself. Further he has been diagnosed with Mucormycosis (Black Fungus). Currently he is on ventilator support with pre-mucormycosis treatment from last 16 days which costs around Rs. 80,000/- per day.
Until now, our family has spent a lot on their treatment from all we had. In the coming days, we would need additional Rs. 50,00,000/- (excluding mucormycosis operation expense) for papa's further treatment which may go on for 1.5 to 2 months. Our savings have been exhausted and we have so far managed with the help of family and relatives but now we would need more help. But as a family, we cant let it go. We will do everything possible for them.
