Help Rakesh Fight Cancer

Rakesh, a twenty-five year old social worker from West Bengal, has recently been diagnosed with Cancer and is in urgent need of your help. After completing his graduation Rakesh has been between jobs. His father is a daily wager himself and can't bear the huge cost of his treatment. The condition of the family has only worsened in the last three months of nationwide Lockdown. Rakesh has always helped the poor and distressed and now needs you to stand with him in this situation.
Doctors are of the opinion that his disease can be cured but the surgery needs to be done as early as possible. He can fight with the disease only if the necessary amount is raised.
Please donate in the campaign and help Rakesh fight cancer.

After much delay due to the lockdown and spread of Corona virus in the hospital Rakesh has finally been admitted in Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata on 6th August and is expected to undergo his pre-scheduled surgery on 7th August. Both physically and mentally he is strong enough to endure the strain of treatment. Prior to his admittance he was examined for covid-19 thrice and he tested negative every single time. The doctors will decide the next stages of his treatment only after the successful completion of his surgery.
Keep praying for Rakesh...

Dear supporters,

Thank you for your support.

Yesterday Rakesh was taken to the hospital for check up. He was to be admitted to the hospital within the first week of July for the primary surgery. Once the surgery is done, the doctors have planned to carry forward with radio-iodine therapy. Currently, the doctors think that he is physically fit enough for the surgery.

We have withdrawn some funds to Rakesh Sardar's account from the campaign which will be used for medical expenses and a bill will be given after the treatment.
