My name is Rajyasri Matilal and I am 29 years old. I am here to raise funds for myself. I am working as an employee in a private company.
I live in Bowbazar, Kolkata, West Bengal with my parents.I have been legally married to Abhishek Pande last year and we were supposed to get married socially in January 2021. However on 1st December I was admitted to Sanjeevani Hospital and on 6th December my condition deteriorated rapidly and on Doctors advice i was transferred to Bellevue Clinic in Critical Care Unit with Diarrhoea, Acute breathing problem, Lungs patch, Liver and Kidney infection and was tested Covid-19 positive.
On 14th December i was discharged from Bellevue based on Doctors advice for home isolation and was under medication. However on 20th December i was readmitted to Bellevue clinic with High fever ,cough,acute breathing problem and was given oxygen support.I have been diagnosed with Acute Pneumonia and have been receiving High flow nasal cannula and Bipap for constant Oxygen Support along with constant High dose steroids and expensive antibiotics. All these medical devices and treatment are very expensive and were given with my family's consent.
Currently i am in Intensive Treatment Unit receiving the above mentioned treatment and am still Covid positive even after 34 days.
Until now, my family has spent approximately INR 1200000.
We are from a middle class family and have managed to arrange the amount from our savings. We have exhausted all our medical insurance. My family had to withdraw their Fixed Deposits prematurely and my ageing parents gave all their life savings for my treatment. Please find the below expense and bill details.
1st December to 6th December , Sanjeevani Hospital - INR 110000(Cash)
6th December to 14th December , Bellevue Clinic - INR 310113 (INR 183063 Insurrance and INR 127050 Cash)
20th December till Today , Bellevue Clinic - INR 1316353 approx (INR 800000 paid by cash and INR 500000 due as on 13th January 2021)
