My Wife Rajyalaxmi (43), is a happy and fearless Women. GOD Blessed us with two cheerful kids, Nikhilesh(16) and Jayant(5). She is now battling for her life.

Both Me and my wife were severely impacted with COVID-19 on the 1st of May, but with GODs grace I have recovered in a couple of weeks. But fate took a different course for my Wife as her COVID symptoms got worse and had to get admitted in a smaller hospital on May 8th to have access to oxygen. Since the access to oxygen was fluctuating, she was shifted to KIMS, Secunderabad (May 10th). And since then she was taken in and out of ICU, put on ventilator support (May 18) and finally we were advised to put her on an ECMO machine, which is a costliest treatment. After successfully overcoming to get on an ECMO waitlist she had the support of ECMO’s artificial lungs for 6 Days and then shifted to ICU with Ventilator continuously..

Based on the situation in May when ask the beds were full and there was a battle to get treatment, we were fortunate enough to get needed equipment and timely treatment. She is being receiving several  costly steroids, antibiotics and other life supporting/infection control injections throughout the course...

Though being in the best hands, at KIMS (Secunderabad-India, Admin No: IP2122005191, UMR no: UMR0001182615) in ICU, where the best doctors are treating her, we are still waiting for a miracle for her lungs to cure by themselves while being in ICU for so long time. The Cost of this treatment is going very high on an average of 1 to 1.5 Lac per day.. And this is only for ICU charges, there are several other bills which are being taken care by our family but the funds are not enough and unable to provide from our hands.

Average expenses from joining in hospital to June 30, is about 70 Lakhs and Laxmi is still continuing treatment being in ICU.

Now, after going through the painful journey of being in ICU for 45 days and not showing desired improvement in her lung condition, KIMS lung transplant team is suggesting for a LUNG TRANSPLANT which is estimated to cost over 75 laksh (including post transplant expenses). Hence, we have also registered for Lung Donor.

We are seeking help from our near and dear to pray for my Wife and do the needful in facing these huge medical bills.

And finally, if she can pull through the current situation she will have to go through a physical therapy on oxygen support for couple of more months with being on medication and constant monitoring doctors. We request you from the bottom of our hearts, to pray and help us in any way possible to get our back to life and be there for her family, most importantly her kids.
