On the night of December 7th, our dearest friend Raju Narige met with an accident on his way back home around 11 PM. He suffered severe injuries to his head/brain. He is currently fighting for his life at a private hospital. His wife Kavitha and two little daughters are facing a devastating situation morally and financially. Many of his friends and family are trying to lend a helping hand financially to help with the immediate medical bills.
Everyone who knows Raju would agree that he is one of the most jovial, honest, friendly person you would ever meet. Always making people around him laugh. He would be the first person to step forward in case if any of his friends needed help. Such was his character.
In the midst of this tragic incident, we(his friends from high school and college) have set up this fund to help the family with the ongoing recovery support costs. Thus far, one surgery(7 hours) had already been performed on December 8th and he is currently on a ventilator. The doctors are planning to do one more surgery, probably in the next 1-2 days which would help him breath on his own.  And this is just the beginning of his long recovery process. So please find it in your heart to donate as any little amount as you can, which can be a great help to his family. Even if you cannot donate, just pray for his speedy recovery.
