Question of Survival!
Lockdown Extended! Question of survival becoming more critical for the vulnerable population.
Wage laborers, domestic and migrant workers, nomadic tribes have lost their income due to nationwide lockdown announced to curtail the spread of COVID 19. They are struggling everyday for their survival as they do not have an immediate source of income & enough savings to even spend on their daily requirements including food, groceries, etc.
Eklavyas' Lets Help Maharashtra initiative is an attempt to help these needy people. Till date, we have helped more than 5000 people with ration and grocery kits. Still, there are thousands of needy people who have approached us for help and we are trying to help them.
We aim to help minimum 1000 such affected families (4000 people) by providing them with the grocery kit worth Rs 500 along with the shared contribution of local collaborating organizations.
