Respected Sir /Madam,
I am writing this to you with a very heavy heart because inhumanity has crossed all the boundaries.
I need urgent help from people for my cousin as she has been mentally & physically tortured by her husband and in -laws . She is a victim in the domestic violence and being treated inhumanly in her in law’s home at SriGanganagar Rajasthan
Rajni’s story in short – She is a physically challenged plus the symptoms of TB & a very poor girl with 3 kids. She is mostly ill and currently staying with her In-laws in SriGanganager .Previously they had even tried to burn her.She is mostly ill and has only one hand(due to the tortures of her in-laws). . .Her left hand palm is half burnt and on 09 Feb 2015 her husband has beaten her up severely on her same hand . Her husband is extremely alcoholic & beats her every other day. Once he even burnt her medical documents and threw away her medicines.
Rajni’s own father is no more (he died with sorrowness for his daughter and due to paralysis ) & her mother is also paralyzed from past 20 years (her mother’s paralysis is to that extent that she can’t even move her any of body parts).So she can’t expect help from her own parent’s side or anyone else in this world .She is on the verge of ending her life.
She was hospitalized yesterday in SriGanganagar government hospital ,as her husband had hit her head against wall .
Practically speaking ,she doesn’t even have money to fill her own belly ,how can she get treated at good hospital . She is extremely helpless. She has been living like this from past 15 years. We are trying to get her into a NGO but she needs money for filling her and her children belly.
Whatever help is possible, kindly do it.
