I'm Aryan, 18 y/o raising funds for CANCER TREATMENT of my father. The doctors say it's still early, and surgery could be the solution. But the expenses are overwhelming us. We're struggling to afford his medications, tests, surgery and my sister's and my own education fees. My father was born and brought up in a poor family and hence never received a proper education but he always made sure that his kids would get the best of education, he never bought new clothes for himself at festivals but always bought extra books for me and my sister.  He has never even touched tobacco or alcohol and never made any friends who do these things (to save his family from bad influence). He was the fittest person in our whole social circle and our family and hence our whole family and friends are in utter disbelief that a person like him can get cancer. People literally used to get inspired by him and take advice from him about health & fitness. We never knew a single ulcer could put my father's life at stake (as it all started with just an ulcer) My father didn't even informed us when he got the ulcer, as he thought it's just a random ulcer, but thereafter the reports confirmed that it is oral cancer. Nobody in our family ever had cancer, it was just deemed by fate. He is from those 30% of people who get this cancer because of pure bad luck.

My Father is more worried about our future than his own health. He blames himself for not being able to provide for our education during this time. I'm in 12th grade, studying hard for IIT-JEE and my sister is preparing for civil services as she wants to become an IAS Officer, she is in Delhi University right now. We both are academically inclined, I secured 95% scholarship in recent IIT-JEE scholarship test & my sister scored 97% in the 10th class with 100/100 in maths. She is also preparing for CAT (to do an MBA from a top IIM) as a backup option. We don't want to become a burden on him. We want to make him proud, but we can't do it alone. We’ve sent emails to 10+ cancer NGOs (including Yuvraj Singh's YouWeCan) but got no replies. Applied for government schemes (Ayushman Bharat included) but ownership of fridge and landline & due to income exceeding 10K/month made us ineligible and there was no option to select Delhi in ayushman bharat app & website. Almost all these programs require income below 10K INR /month, which we don't qualify for. In short we have tried everything we can before starting the crowdfunding and now crowdfunding is our last hope. We're reaching out for help, for his treatment and our education so that one day me and my sister can donate back on this website. Your donation can make a difference in saving a kind man's life and helping his son (18) and daughter (20) fulfil their childhood dreams of becoming an Engineer & IAS officer respectively

My father also visited Tata Memorial Hospital and other govt hospitals like GTB, Rajiv Gandhi etc. but the waiting time was too long, approximately 2 months. The cancer will become really aggresive by that time so a Doctor in GTB hospital adviced my father to go for private hospital since in govt hospitals even a single scan takes a whole week. Tata Memorial Hospital  quoted around 3 lakhs just for surgery only and even more for radiation, meds and further checkups. Now it makes sense to get the treatment done from somewhere else If we’re getting similar costs but ASAP, rather than waiting & letting the cancer grow. If we wait for a few more months, the cancer could become incurable, costing us 3 - 4 times of the present amount because of radiation & chemotherapy. Now, We have no choice except getting the treatment done in a private hospital, It is costing us around 3.5 - 4 lakhs for surgery and additional for further checkups, scans etc. in Fortis. Let's come together to support my dad in his fight against cancer and ease his worries about our future. Every little contribution counts, it could be sharing this page with your friends & family also.  I Love my dad a lot, I'm grateful for whatever he did for me and now I'm just doing efforts to keep him alive. I can't lose him as I already lost my closest cousin brother in covid and I can't go through that pain again.

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for your kindness and support during this incredibly challenging time. Your generosity, whether it's through a donation, sharing our fundraising page, or offering words of encouragement, means more to us than words can express.
